I have seen Martin Adeda a few times over two years. The appointments have always been 30min+ late, and when seen by him, I mentioned having some issues and he took a 5 minute look and referred me to the hygienist. I wasn't happy so have been to a different practice and have been told I have chronic gingivitis and need a long term treatment plan as well as some work done, which is what my issue was before. Deeply disappointed and would not recommend at all. Stay away!

This morning I was informed by this dental practice, I am to be excluded from attending any future dental treatment, after missing a handful of appointments. Though I truly understand this can be frustrating and inconvenient, but my situation isn’t that black and white.

Through-out 2017, I spent much of my time In Musgrove Hospital, having kidney surgeries. Which one of these times I ended up in the ICU fighting for my life, after my lungs collapsed.
On the back of these events, I believe to have missed four dental appointments. Which I either called the practice in advance, emailed and on one occasion I arrived at my appointment, but on arrival became immensely sick and informed the receptionist of my situation and later called to re-schedule.

I first attended this dental practice, via the Dental Advice Line to have an emergency tooth out. This was also a negative experience, after nearly passing out in their waiting room. The reception staff member was really vile toward me, and it took the kindness of random, member of the public to prevent me collapsing on the floor in the waiting room, only then did another member of staff intervene to help.

The dentists themselves are brilliant, which is a real shame that it’s so poorly managed by people with zero humanity, nor compassion. That put profit before people.

After speaking to the practice this morning (09/02/18), have concluded the reasoning behind them penalising from this NHS service, boils down to number crunching and completely side-stepping the individual, human means tested situation. In my original review, I stated "The dentists themselves are brilliant" But I take this back, as they appear to be just as toxic as the people whom run this practice. They state I didn't communicate in time, but getting through on the phone in the morning is a challenge, and they rarely reply to emails, maybe they should also take their own advice, when it come to communication. I'd advise anyone needing dental treatment, to look elsewhere with decent humans, that see you as a person and not as a number or a pound sign.

been here 3 times in the last 3 months after being terrified of dentist for many years. Never had a problem with the reception although they are always very busy their always polite.The Dentist has been very patient and friendly and I no longer feel terrified about going to get treatment which I never thought would be the case.

Used this practice for a while, even though waiting times seems to always be 30 min past appointment, I do understand that delays occur. Unfortunately the reason I'm giving 1 stars is due to the poor organisation skills and lack of helpfulness from the reception staff.
I had booked and appointment just over a month prior to my wedding to get one my tooth fixed due to being discoloured, the dentis was amazingly helpful and even told me to say the receptionist to book for the Fridays as they were told to leave them open for patients that needed my type of treatment.
I had to wait a week as they said they had none for that Friday. Appointment was given for following Friday , I received a text confirmation and reminder, when I went in I was told that I did not have an appointment for that day , it had been in the previous Friday (that I was told in the first place that no appointments were available for), and was a fault in their system. Booked another appointment, once again went in and was told appointment wasn't until another day even though once again I had received the text message cofirmimg the same I was told previous time I had been there; I explained my situation, that only had 3 weeks until my wedding and I needed 3 sessions each 1 week apart so unless I did it the first session that day I would have never get it done on time. Receptionist told me there was nothing they could do as all booked up ( I had already paid the full amount for this service and had got given 2 wrong appointments and sent home when showed up for appointment) , so I just walked out rang my husband and had a full melt on down as felt like they were ruining my wedding and me feeling beautiful and comfortable on one of the most important days of my life. He went in spoke to them and they offered me an appointment the beginning of the following week meaning the treatment wouldn't be complete by my wedding. I was so angry that demanded a refund, unfortunately I feel like they ruined part of my happy day as I was unable to feel comfortable smiling for the pictures with my horrible front grey tooth.
It's been 8 months since this happened and decided to not write a review then as I was very upset but even after all this time looking back of photos I feel failed by their staff to even get something as an appointment right in the first place.
Can't fault the dentist just the front desk staff for their appalling ways, hope it has improved though as their customer service isn't great either.
I would not recommend or use this practice in the near future unless they improve drastically and start getting better reviews from other of my friends and acquaintances

Cannot get in touch with the practice have been trying all morning. The line is either busy or it rings and then cuts off. I have been trying to book an appointment online and they come up for new members but it says to call the practice for an existing members appointments! This is poor service when it could be an emergency. I understand the dental practise may be busy but cutting someone off the phone line that has taken over 30 mins to get through is not helpful.
